Cookie Policy
Last updated: 01/06/2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Leveredge (“Leveredge”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit our website, sign in to your account, or use the Leveredge platform.
By using the Service, you consent to the use of cookies in accordance with this Policy. You can withdraw or adjust your consent at any time by following the instructions in the “How to Manage Cookies” section below.
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device when you visit it. They are widely used to make websites work, improve performance, and provide information to the site operators. Cookies may be set by Leveredge (first-party cookies) or by third parties whose services we rely on (third-party cookies).
We also use related technologies such as local storage and session storage, which work in a similar way. For simplicity, we refer to all of these as “cookies” in this Policy.
These cookies are strictly necessary to provide the Service. They enable authentication, load your dashboard, place and manage your active trades, and remember your security preferences. The Service cannot function without them.
We use Umami, a privacy-first analytics tool, to understand how visitors use the Service so we can improve it. Umami is cookieless: it does not set any cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not track you across websites. All analytics are aggregated and anonymous, which means under most regulations (including the EU ePrivacy Directive) we do not need your prior consent to use it.
We do not currently set marketing or advertising cookies on Leveredge. If this changes we will update this Policy and ask for your consent before any such cookies are placed.
| Name | Purpose | Type | Expiry |
|---|---|---|---|
| __session | Maintains your authenticated session with Firebase Authentication. | Essential | Session |
| firebase:authUser:* | Stores Firebase ID token and refresh token used to verify your identity. | Essential | Up to 1 year |
| firestore-cache | Caches Firestore query results locally to reduce network usage. | Essential | Up to 90 days |
| umami | Anonymous, cookieless analytics used to count page views and measure conversion events (signups, first trades, etc.). No personal data is stored; all metrics are aggregated. | Analytics | None — cookieless |
Some cookies are set by third parties whose services we use to operate the platform. These include:
- Firebase Authentication & Firestore (Google Cloud): authenticates your session and stores your trade, signal, and journal data.
- Firebase App Hosting (Google Cloud): hosts the website on Cloud Run. Hosting infrastructure may log request metadata (IP address, user agent) for security and operational purposes.
- Umami: provides cookieless, anonymous analytics (see Section 3). No cookies or personal data are set or shared with Umami.
- Google Fonts: loads the Source Sans 3 and Space Grotesk web fonts; the request includes a referrer header that may be logged by Google.
These providers may set their own cookies in accordance with their privacy policies. We do not control third-party cookies and recommend reviewing each provider’s policy for details.
Leveredge does not currently display a cookie consent banner. The cookies we set are limited to those strictly necessary to deliver the Service, which under most regulations (including the EU ePrivacy Directive) do not require prior consent.
Our analytics provider (Umami) is also cookieless and processes no personal data, so it does not require a consent banner. If we introduce cookies or other tracking technologies in the future that do require consent (for example, marketing or advertising cookies), we will surface a consent banner before they are placed and update this Policy accordingly.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:
- View the cookies that have been set and delete them individually.
- Block cookies from specific sites.
- Block all third-party cookies.
- Block all cookies entirely (note: this will prevent the Service from functioning).
Refer to your browser’s help documentation for instructions. Common starting points:Chrome,Firefox,Safari,Edge.
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page indicates when the latest revision took effect. Material changes will be announced through the Service or by email where appropriate.
